The unglamorous part, done properly.
Contracts, invoices, royalties, registrations and budgets, run on our own platform, with fees paid straight to you and every record yours to keep.
The machinery
What we run
Contracts
Every agreement read, negotiated and signed before the work starts, stored in one place with its versions, and diarised so options, renewals and notice dates are never missed.
Money in
Invoices issued promptly in the artist’s own name and numbering, with their bank details, then chased until they are paid. The artist can see what was agreed, invoiced, paid and late at any moment.
Royalties
Collecting society memberships set up, songs and recordings registered, splits agreed in writing, and statements checked against what was released and played.
Budgets
Release, video and tour budgets built before commitments are made, and actual costs tracked against them.
Tax and structure
We keep the records your accountant needs and flag the questions worth asking them, such as VAT registration, working across borders and withholding tax on overseas fees.
Included, and yours
The platform
Your website
Designed, built, hosted and maintained by us, kept current as releases and dates change. You own the domain and the content.
Bookings and diary
Every enquiry, hold, offer and date in one pipeline, and one diary shared with the band and crew.
Invoices and statements
Your numbering, your bank details, and a clear record of what has been paid and what is late.
Your data
If we ever part ways, you leave with your website, contacts, dates and financial records. Nothing is held back.
Questions
About business and admin
Do you replace my accountant or lawyer?
No. We work alongside specialist music lawyers and accountants and make their work easier by keeping the records they need in order. We read every contract closely and negotiate the commercial terms, and we tell you when something needs a solicitor.
Who holds the money?
Fees are paid straight to the artist, on invoices that carry the artist’s own bank details. We invoice our commission afterwards on the income it applies to, so the artist always sees the full amount first.
What happens to my data if we stop working together?
You keep it. Your website, contacts, dates, invoices and financial records are yours, and you leave with all of them. That is written into our agreement, not just promised.
Which royalties should an artist be registered for?
At minimum, songwriting royalties through a publisher or a society such as PRS for Music or Buma/Stemra, and neighbouring rights through PPL in the UK or Sena in the Netherlands for recordings you perform on or own. Streaming income from distributors, and sync and mechanical income through the publisher, follow from getting those registrations right.
